Colorectal Surgeon needed in Southern CA Need is due to retirement 50% colorectal; 50% general surgery cases Hospital based practice They have the volume and clinics established for a doc to come in and see patients and build their cases Huge volume of GI patients. Currently they have a part-time/experienced CRS who is going to stay on to mentor. He will retire when the Doc is up and running. The CRS is in addition to the 4 GS (they have 2, and are recruiting for 2 more) + the trauma team. The CRS will help build the GS Residency Program. There is little/no call. The current CRS takes call for their two GS when he works Tues/Wed/Thurs each week but it is phone calls. There is one community CRS in town.
