We are looking for an Agronomist to join our Avocado team in Far North Queensland. This role will be based in the Atherton region in FNQ and will report to the National Agronomy Manager.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Farm Managers and National Agronomy Manager to assist in farm improvement practices to ensure the highest possible yield and quality of fruit. This role will specifically focus upon Avocado farming operations and will require work across all sites in the region.
Some of the Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include field implementation, assessments, monitoring, data and sample collection for the development of best agronomic outcomes and practices, with a specific focus on yield, quality, and the right fruit size.
