IT Operations & Service Management (ITSM) OR Data Integration, MDM & Technical Team Leadership
Location: Atlanta, NJ
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Lead the implementation, and maintenance of scalable and robust analytics platforms.
· Manage IT service operations to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of
the analytics platform.
· Deliver an exceptional user experience by ensuring the platform meets the needs of its
users. Implement user feedback to improve platform functionality and usability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
translate them into technical solutions.
· Oversee the integration of various data sources to ensure seamless data flow and
accessibility.
· Ensure the platform's performance, security, and reliability through continuous
monitoring and optimization.
· Implement and manage IT service management (ITSM) processes, including incident,
problem, and change management. Enforce these processes to ensure efficient and
effective service delivery.
· Ensure the platform's security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
· Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
· Manage resources through vendor partners, ensuring they meet performance and
service level agreements. Oversee vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service
delivery and cost-effectiveness.
· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous
improvement.
QUALIFICATION
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· Proven experience in software integration and technical operations support
· 7+ years’ experience with Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Data
Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure
ADLS, Azure Databricks, - MDM Reltio, Azure DevOps and other relevant tools
· Commercial Data Expertise
· Experience managing third-party managed service providers
Preferred Qualifications:
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
· Background in master data management systems and processes is beneficial
· Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment.
· Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
· Hands on expereince with Data & analytics platform management, like Azure Databricks, MDM – Reltio etc.
· Hands-on experience in design, coding, managing backlogs delivery of IS projects
· Attention to detail and ability to deal with ambiguity and change
· Penchant to learn about new technology innovation and creativity in applying to business problems
· Experience establishing, running, maintaining and evolving integrated data management and science delivery platforms
· Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
· Experience with ITSM tools and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow).
