MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA certification
Strong clinical and communication skills
No prior IOP experience required
Conduct mental health intake assessments (approximately 1–2 per day)
Provide follow-up care for current IOP patients (approximately 6–7 per day)
Oversee and participate in weekly team meetings
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and clinical staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
