Project Manager IV

Job Overview:  

 seeking a motivated Project Manager IV to provide crucial support to our client who is a major utility company in San Diego. This individual will work closely with the Change Management team to innovate and streamline 

 

Client Deadline: Tuesday 9/1/26 at 5 PM 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Manages the entire IT project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Execute projects/initiatives and offer solutions to help the Change Management team focus on core business and assist with a company wide database migration.
The team will help us build dashboards to satisfy the data requests and metrics
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.  
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.  
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.  
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.  
Ensures effective change management and process improvement initiatives occur throughout the course of the project delivery.  
Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.  
Perform other job duties as assigned 
  Education/Experience Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required.
PMP certification is required. 
Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably with construction or utilities background. 
Strong experience in implementing change management and/or continuous improvement initiatives across large organizations. 
Large scale IT Systems or Database migration experience is preferred. 
Ability to work independently under limited supervision and with urgency 
Ability to work in a team environment 
Ability to quickly learn and develop strong working knowledge of various software applications 
Must be a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail 
Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. 
Strong customer service skills and proactive follow-up (internal and external) 
Experienced with MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
Must be able to successfully pass our background screening process 
Candidate must be eligible to work in the US 
Candidate must be able to commute to San Diego office location.

Pay Range:  

 
Min: $90/hour 
Max: $103/hour
