The Opportunity
University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital seek an accomplished, board-certified maternal fetal medicine physician to serve as Division Chief, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Barbara Peterson Ruhlman Chair in Maternal Fetal Medicine. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a highly visible academic division within one of the nation’s leading nonprofit health systems and to shape the future of high-risk obstetrical care, education, research, and program development across Northeast Ohio.
The Division Chief will work in close partnership with UH Medical Group leadership, the Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology, faculty, trainees, and institutional partners to advance clinical excellence, strengthen academic programs, support innovative research, and further position UH Cleveland Medical Center and UH MacDonald Women’s Hospital as regional and national leaders in maternal fetal medicine.

The Ideal Candidate
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range of $600,000 to $730,000 reflects a good faith estimate of the potential base compensation for this physician leader position at the time of posting. This range is subject to change and may be updated in the future. Actual compensation will be determined by various factors, including (but not limited to) location, specialty, academic rank, board certification, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, internal equity, etc. Unless otherwise noted, this figure does not include incentive pay or the value of University Hospitals’ comprehensive benefits package.
