Our client, a Public Accounting Firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant for their office. Our client is a successful and growing firm established 50 years ago with two locations in Lake County, Illinois. They offer a competitive salary and benefit package!

Job Duties:

• Individual income tax preparation and planning
• Corporate income tax preparation and planning
• Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
• Payroll tax return preparation
• Sales tax return preparation
• Bookkeeping services
• Audits

Job requirements:

• 5+ years in public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
• CPA designation or working towards it
• Experience with Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Work efficiently and independently
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentially
