The Nurse Manager facilitates the realization of the organization's 
mission, strategic plan, and values at the point of care. Plans for, 
leads, coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and 
service for a defined population of patients and facilitates the 
procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and provides for 
adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The 
Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem solving, 
leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility and teamwork. 
The Nurse Manager provides leadership, consultation and 
collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment. 
She/He collaborates with administrators and other members of the 
health care team to design, evaluate and improve patient care 
systems and processes.
 
- Multi-site management
- Manage 5 in-center hemodialysis units and one home dialysis 
program
- 6 direct reports (one nurse supervisor for each dialysis unit), 
70+ indirect reports
 
Bottom line :
 
1.  State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license.
2.  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
3.  3+ years of nursing experience.
4.  1+ years of Nursing Management or Supervisory experience.
