Med Hospitalist Job responsibilities:

The Hospitalist will provide direct hands-on care to patients within the limits of credentials granted by the Medical Staff of Inova in recognition of advanced training and experience in this field

Additionally, they will adhere to patient care and admission criteria policies and procedures of the Department of Medicine.

Additional Requirements:

Education: Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Osteopathic degree from an accredited institution, Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Experience: Successful completion of an ACGME physician residency program

Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia and Virginia DEA

Credentialing: Ability to be credentialed as an associate member of the Medical Staff with clinical privileges in Internal Medicine
