Job Overview: The Childcare Provider will be responsible for overseeing the care and educational development of children in the facility. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in care.
• Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
• Help children keep good hygiene and change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore their interests.
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
• Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to the attention of parents.
• Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; further training in child development or early childhood education is a plus.
• Proven experience in childcare or early education.
• Understanding of child development and early education theories and practices.
• Patience, flexibility, and love for children.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Work Environment: The role is typically based in a childcare center, preschool, or home daycare setting.

Physical Requirements: Requires physical stamina to lift and carry young children, bend, stoop, and play.
