The Opportunity
As the CFO at you will take on a pivotal leadership role, driving the organization’s financial performance and ensuring its long-term sustainability. As a key strategic partner, the CFO will lead The Arthur Center’s financial operations, providing insight and guidance to support the organization’s mission of inspiring community health and wellness across its six-county service area.
The CFO reports directly to the CEO and serves as a key member of the executive team. This role shapes financial strategies to align with the organization’s mission and goals. Leadership includes managing financial systems, processes, and team development to support The Arthur Center’s position as a leading provider of integrated behavioral and physical healthcare. The CFO oversees financial, operational, and administrative functions while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Current priorities center on balancing strategic and operational responsibilities. Key initiatives include:
Leadership Development: Establishing authority as a C-suite leader and trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive team.
Financial Operations: Delivering accurate financial reports, completing audits, and ensuring compliance with FQHC and CCBHC requirements.
System Modernization: Advancing financial operations through tools like Paycore to enhance efficiency and clarity.
Growth Management: Refining infrastructure and systems to support ongoing operations, recent expansions, and future opportunities.
Team Building: Strengthening the finance team through mentorship, skill development, and succession planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivating relationships with local partners, financial institutions, and community leaders to sustain growth.
Compliance and Innovation: Overseeing change management and ensuring adherence to evolving value-based payment models and healthcare standards.
