Admin Skills:

• Overall responsibility for the effective operation of the SAS Analytics Environment

• Work with users providing advice on the best practice for the creation of analytics processes, programs or models to best utilize the SAS environment

• Via SAS Management Console, control user access to various parts of the SAS system, granting permissions to read, write, create or view reports and data within the system – ensure that users see only the information that they are authorized to access

• Working with the Development

• Responsible for the maintenance of in-place programs

• Manage all SAS product installations and upgrades

• Configure SAS products and SAS output channels

• Research and make recommendations on hardware and SAS software

• Investigate, escalate, and resolve all SAS production support incidents in accordance with the Production Support Process

• Maintain and execute disaster recovery procedures as needed

Architect skills:

• Experience in supporting high memory SAS environments that are enterprise wide and serve multiple business units

• Strong knowledge of relational database design and data warehouse best practices

• Expert SQL skills, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata

• Expert knowledge of SAS analytic capabilities that include statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modelling and data mining

• Good understanding of systems, networking, and storage

• Experience installing SAS software and patches in UNIX environment
