premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking full-time Logistician III. This position is located in San Diego, CA

 

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

 

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management

Support the logistics management of the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources

Responsible for managing lifecycle of hardware and software asset

Managing and tracking software licenses, reviewing volume and expenditure purchase agreements to ensure license compliance

Resolve discrepancies identified in asset management database and update the asset management database upon any custodial change

Support the implementation and management of program changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.

Experience with developing budgets and operating plans for programs (program spend plans).

Reconciliation of discovered assets that are not tracked in the asset management database

Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management

Qualifications Requirements:

 

Active Secret Security Clearance

High School or GED certificate

Experience shall include at least fifteen (15) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management

Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience supervising Logistics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision

Desired Experienced:

 

Experience in logistic packing and shipment of assets

Experience working with a CMDB and the specific business services that it supports

Understanding of IT Service Management processes
