Job Description:

 seeking a Construction MEP / Project Manager 2 to work with one of Sodexo’s construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in Houston, TX. The Construction MEP / Project Manager 2 will be the primary project leader for execution teams on assigned projects and will effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required. What You Will Do:

Develop project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects
Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes
Actively pursue additional work through change orders.
Perform associated cost estimates, prepares proposals, and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance
Develop and maintains viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors
Attend and lead job progress meetings
What You Bring:

Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience with new construction, renovations, infrastructure, and working in critical environments is preferred
Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office to include excel, word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment as well as experience with MS project, Procore and Bluebeam
OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire)
Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes.
Position Summary:

Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated capital projects. Reviews project proposal, establishes work plan and manages contractors to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.

Key Duties

Construction Management including scheduling and financial management
Quality Control and Safety
Project Engineering including following specifications, design adaptation by ensure design and specifications meet codes and specification
Sub-contractor management
Administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, minutes, maintaining documentation and customer liaison
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years' work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of Construction/Project Management experience with new construction, renovations, infrastructure, and working in critical environments.
3 years' work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services.
