The ICP is responsible for directing the infection prevention and control program for the community offering Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care accommodations to the residents. The ICP will utilize their clinical knowledge and specialized training to coordinate, deliver and maintain efficient and effective infection prevention and control programs, as well as serving as a consultant to the various departments to ensure compliance with infection control standards. The ICP provides clinical education to employees with the goal of providing decreasing the risk of infectious disease transmission to the residents and staff.
