Probate Paralegal

Position Overview
The Probate Paralegal will assist attorneys in managing probate cases in the firm's Estate Planning and Probate practice group, including the preparation and filing of legal documents, maintaining case files, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of probate law and possess excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure the efficient administration of estates.

Key Responsibilities

Draft legal documents related to probate cases including petitions, orders, and notices.
Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all documents and correspondence.
Assist in the estate administration process by gathering necessary information and documentation.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather required information.
Review documents for accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Prepare and file documents with the court in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to legal compliance in all probate matters.
Manage timelines and deadlines effectively to ensure timely case progression.
Assist in trust administration and understanding fiduciary duties as needed.
Utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies.
Proven experience as a paralegal, specifically in probate law or estate administration.
Strong drafting and document review skills.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with court filing procedures and legal compliance.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
