Summary

We are seeking a CAD Designer for a commercial construction firm in Devens, MA. This role focuses on developing and managing detailed 3D Revit models and technical drawings for HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems in commercial building projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coordination with all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare detailed 3D models and technical drawings in Revit for HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems in commercial building projects.
• Create, update, and manage BIM models to ensure coordination across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Perform clash detection using Revit and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate and comprehensive design layouts.
• Revise designs based on client feedback, design changes, and field conditions.
• Conduct field visits as necessary to gather measurements and verify existing conditions.
• Maintain drawing files, BIM models, and documentation in compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Ensure designs meet applicable building codes, standards, and best practices.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to incorporate equipment specifications into designs.
• Support fabrication and installation teams by providing clear and precise drawings.
