micro1 is engaging Customer Service Experts to contribute to a customer’s project, delivering phone-based support across the United States. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. As an independent contractor, you will represent customers during live calls, handling communications with businesses and service providers to complete everyday tasks. This remote engagement prioritizes written and verbal English communication and seeks proactive professionals from LATAM regions.

Scope of Work

  1. Place and receive phone calls on behalf of customers to complete tasks including reservations, appointment scheduling, and vendor confirmations.
  2. Engage with businesses and service providers, ensuring clear, professional communication to gather information and fulfill requests.
  3. Efficiently navigate phone menus, hold queues, and call centers to reach the appropriate contact for each task.
  4. Document outcomes and important details for every call interaction with accuracy and attention to confidentiality.
  5. Handle a high volume of short, consecutive calls addressing a variety of customer needs.
  6. Collaborate with other remote professionals to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer service experience.
  7. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discretion with sensitive customer information.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrated experience in executive assistance, virtual assistance, concierge services, or customer support via phone.
  2. Fluent, neutral, and clear spoken English with strong improvisational and live conversation skills for US-based interactions.
  3. Confidence in making outbound calls, including cold calls, and efficiently navigating automated phone systems.
  4. Reliable high-speed internet connection, quiet work environment, and a quality wired or USB headset.
  5. Experience in the hospitality, restaurant, or travel industries; negotiation or escalation experience is a plus.
  6. Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple consecutive tasks, and deliver high-quality service remotely.

Compensation Structure

Representatives are paid for scheduled, available hours — not per call completed.

Start Timeline & Availability

This role requires committed, shift-based availability — representatives must be fully active and responsive for the entire duration of every scheduled shift. This would be an initial 4-week engagement, with representatives working four 5-hour shifts per week (up to 20 hours/week). Genuine weekend availability is required for a portion of the team.

We typically fill roles within 48 hours and expect selected candidates to start their first shifts within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
